Megan Harrison-Turner has spent more than 20 years working with New Zealands leading magazine home titles and advertising photographers. And since the early nineties has been regarded as one of Aucklands leading stylists, specialising in lifestyle and interiors.
During this time Megan was instrumental in developing a distinctive look for major brands including Ezibuy Home & Gifts, Flybuys, Sleepyhead and Plumbing World. Worked closely for magazines like Habitat, Your Home and Garden, Home & Entertaining and FQ. While being part of the team that created award winning covers for Cuisine and the launch magazine of Dish.
Drawing on her training in interior design Megan also worked with selected property developers consulting on both interior and exterior colours. Her dual experience in interior design and photographic styling provided a logical progression to consulting with advertising agencies and companies, on the use of colour in packaging and products in areas diverse as skincare, homewares, food, interior and exterior building products. This includes the carpet company Norman Ellison, a boutique paint range of 720 colours for Jacobsen Creative Surfaces and retail franchise Colourplus. She is the “Interior Design and Home Styling Expert” for Palmers Garden Centres.
Megan was contracted to rework and expanded the Colourplus paint range to 720 colours. It also bares her name. It was then expanded to include coordinating wallpaper books and curtain ranges.
Megan is regularly asked for comment on colours and interiors by the media, has had articles published in a number of popular magazines and websites and is asked to speak on colour trend forecasts at conferences.
